FROM VISION TO STUDIO

Studio Fondue was born from a simple belief: Pilates should be technical, powerful, and unapologetically elevated. Not diluted, not generic, and never an afterthought.

Set in the heart of Uluwatu, Bali, we created a space where movement is method-driven, instruction is meticulous, and every detail — from the playlist to the spring tension — is intentional.

What started as a passion project has become Uluwatu's destination for serious, soulful Pilates. Mat, reformer, and barre — all under one roof, all following the Fondue Method.

Every class is designed with purpose. Exercises build on each other, transitions have meaning, and your body is prepared for what comes next. Nothing is random.

The Founder

MEET THE PERSON BEHIND FONDUE

Izzie built Studio Fondue with a clear vision: to bring world-class Pilates to Uluwatu, not a watered-down version, but the real thing. Technical, soulful, and delivered with precision.

With a background in phisiotherapy business and yoga teaching, she spent years training and leading before opening the doors to Studio Fondue. The studio reflects her belief that movement should be both disciplined and deeply personal.

Melissa

Lead Instructor

Originally from Adelaide, South Australia and residing in Sydney for the past 10 years she began teaching 18 months ago. Melissa is a passionate, high-energy Pilates instructor with a deep love for movement, wellness, and helping others feel strong in their bodies. Known for her uplifting spirit and dynamic teaching style, she brings both intensity and joy to every session—whether it’s on the mat or on the reformer. With a strong foundation in mindful movement, Melissa empowers clients of all levels to connect with their core and move with greater confidence and ease. Her classes are equal parts challenge and celebration, designed to leave you feeling aligned and energised!

Raquel

Lead Instructor

Originally from Spain, Raquel has been teaching Pilates for 11 years, blending her background in Dance and Human Anatomy to deliver technically precise, rehabilitation-focused classes. Her sessions are fuelled by 'Latina energy’; creative, dynamic, and intentional movements that leave you feeling accomplished and energised. Her greatest motivation is witnessing her students' transformation and helping them live pain-free.

CHLOE

Lead Instructor

Chloe has been teaching Pilates for over four years. Originally from the UK, where she began her teaching journey, she has since taught across Australia and Bali. Her classes are rooted in alignment, with a strong emphasis on building deep mind-to-muscle connection. With a passion for anatomy, Chloe brings an educational element into every session, helping clients better understand their bodies while moving through a strong and intentional Pilates practice. She is also a teacher trainer for Barre Body - Australia’s leading Pilates education platforms, delivering the Bali trainings here in the studio.

ABI

Lead Instructor

Originally from England, Abigail has spent over 8 years in the health and fitness industry, with a background in elite sport and strength & conditioning shaping her approach to movement and coaching. Her classes are strong, energising and detail focused, with a big emphasis on form and technical cueing so clients can truly learn and progress, not just go through the motions. Expect a balance of strength, control and flow, designed to challenge you while leaving you feeling aligned and uplifted. She’s deeply passionate about empowering women to feel strong and confident in their bodies and sees Pilates as one of the most powerful ways to do that. Creating a positive, supportive space is at the core of her teaching, where students can move, reset and leave feeling their best.

NATALIE

Instructor

Originally from Hong Kong, Nat has been teaching Pilates for over a year. She comes from a background in sport science and biology, which sparked her love for understanding the human body and movement. She’s been living in Bali for the past two years and loves the lifestyle, especially spending time in the ocean and surfing. She keeps her classes balanced between strong and mindful, and is known for my core work and side-lying glute series. Her style is intentional, with a high-vibe, and focuses on accurate form and stabilising control. She loves helping people feel stronger and more connected to their bodies. For Nat, it’s about encouraging people to push themselves just a little further each time, while still enjoying the process.

QUINN

Instructor

Quinn, a New York native, discovered her love for Pilates while living in Australia, where she began teaching in Sydney. Now with nearly a year of teaching, her classes focus on slow, controlled movements where strength meets precision alignment. Watching her clients grow stronger and more confident is what truly drives her. Every class, she strives to help each student leave feeling like their best self.
