In our Reformer sessions we use the reformer bed, a sleek, padded platform with sliding rails and adjustable springs, you will work your body in ways that leave you feeling strong, stretched, and powerful. The reformer’s spring resistance lets you control the intensity of each movement, so every exercise can be customized to meet you where you’re at. Whether you’re a newcomer or a seasoned pro, the spring resistance helps you target deep muscles, build strength, and improve flexibility without putting strain on your joints. Expect to sculpt, tone, and challenge your core.
Let’s shake up the way you move.
50min Level 1
The Reformer Foundation focuses on the core principles of Pilates, functional movements, and proper technique. This class is designed for all levels, offering modifications and progressions to suit beginners as well as those with more experience. It provides an excellent opportunity to learn how to use the Reformer equipment, build confidence, and develop a strong foundation in Pilates. Whether you’re new to Reformer or looking to refine your skills, this class helps improve strength, flexibility, and body awareness in a supportive environment.
50min Level 1-2
The Reformer Open is designed to be inclusive for all levels, offering a dynamic and challenging workout, with a combination of modifications and progressions. You will feel the burn while building strength, flexibility, and control. This class allows you to use layers of intensity to create your own difficulty level and challenge yourself.
While the session is accessible for newcomers to Studio Fondue, we recommend that you have taken at least 3 intro classes first to familiarise yourself with the Reformer.
50min Level 2
Our Reformer Progressive is an intermediate level designed for those with prior Reformer experience or anyone looking for a more dynamic challenge. This class builds on foundational skills, focusing on refining technique while introducing more complex movements. You’ll work through layered progressions that target improved strength, stability, coordination, and overall movement efficiency. As the intensity increases, you’ll engage deeper muscles and elevate your workout to the next level.
Please note, this class is not suitable for beginners or individuals who are pregnant, as it involves more advanced exercises that require familiarity with the Reformer and a solid understanding of Pilates principles.
